As a Southern Baptist church, Mountain View is affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention on the national level and the Southern Baptist Conservatives of Virginia on the state level.

Our passion for Scripture is driven by the biblical doctrine of inspiration, meaning the Bible is inerrant, infallible, authoritative, and sufficient for faith and practice.

As a local church, we wholeheartedly agree with and hold to the summary of biblical truth found in the "Baptist Faith and Message" (2000).
